LDRS 38 Volunteer Range Duty Page
LDRS 38 will require plenty of volunteer assistance from all our Rocket Pals each day. Performing one of the range duty tasks is a great way to meet and get to know the many flyers who come to LDRS 38 from all around the world. You also get up close and personal with lots of really cool rockets. Getting a close look at other people's projects can be a great learning experience for your own personal projects. Please contact president@kloudbusters.org to volunteer for LDRS 38 Range Duty.

Other Prefectures are challenged to reserve an entire shift to man the range with members of their club.

All Range Duty volunteers will receive a very special gift from KLOUDBusters for their efforts.

Range duty spots are available for the following:

  • Launch Control Officer (LCO) - The LCO is the person who "punches the button". Responsibilities include ensuring that the range and skies are safe for launches to commence and to keep the flow of the launch moving expeditiously. LCO should be a Level 2 or above rocketeer.
